Eco-friendly project
La Caille is an old organic farm located in the countryside of central France (Saint-Menoux).
We are committed to growing vegetables as well as fostering a sense of community.
The site includes several individual dwellings and a shared living space.
The project involves working together to maintain the buildings and gardens and live together.
La Caille is currently looking for farmers to work on its 14 hectares of meadows, hedgerows and arable land.
La Caille has a small campsite and group accommodation with a capacity of 30 beds, both managed by dedicated professionals.
In addition to the residents’ own activities, work in the vegetable garden and edible forest, the Zonnekind Cocon doll workshop and educational activities with farm animals are carried out collectively.
Children from the nearby free school regularly visit us for seasonal projects.
We always welcome volunteers who wish to work with us for a short or long period.
